**Ingredients:**
– 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend for juicy burgers)
– 12 slices American cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
– 4 sesame seed buns
– 2 cups French fries (store-bought or homemade)
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional toppings: ketchup, mustard, mayo
**Instructions:**
**1. Prepare the Fries:**
– If making homemade fries, cut the potatoes into fries, soak in cold water for 30 minutes, drain, pat dry, and fry in hot oil (350°F/175°C) until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
– If using store-bought fries, cook according to package instructions.
**2. Form and Cook the Patties:**
– Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape each into a patty, slightly larger than your buns.
– Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper.
– Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
– During the last minute of cooking, place 3 slices of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
**3. Assemble the Burgers:**
– Toast the sesame seed buns lightly in the same skillet or grill.
– Place one cheesy patty on the bottom half of each bun, add a second cheesy patty on top.
– Top with a generous portion of crispy fries.
