5.5 cups of flour
2 cups of yellow flour (pasta, pizza flour)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2.5 cups of water
For the Break;
1 tablespoon butter
Half a cup of oil
200 g cheese
How To Make A Mother-style Soft Wire Katmer Recipe;
Let’s add flour, yellow flour, sugar, salt and little by little water to a suitable kneading bowl and knead a soft dough. Let’s grease the dough with a mixture of melted butter and oil, cover it and leave it for 10 minutes.
Let’s cut pieces from the dough and divide them into 7 equal meringues. Let’s grease the meringues and cover them. Let’s wait 30 minutes.
Let’s take the first of the meringues to the counter and open it as much as we can with the help of a rolling pin. Let’s add the grated cheddar cheese and fold the dough into a square shape.
After preparing all the dough in a square shape, let’s cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Let’s press and expand the dough meringues with our fingertips and cook them in a preheated pan, turning both sides.
