Ferrero Rocher & M&M Mayhem Ice Cream Spectacular

This recipe takes your ice cream game to the next level with a decadent combination of Ferrero Rocher, M&Ms, and homemade cookie dough chunks!

Ingredients:

For the Nutella Swirl:

1/2 cup Nutella
For the Caramel Swirl:

1/2 cup caramel sauce
For the Cookie Dough Chunks:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
For the Ice Cream Base:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
8 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, roughly chopped
1 cup M&Ms, divided (half for mixing in, half for topping)
Fresh berries (optional, for topping)
Instructions:

Make the Cookie Dough Chunks: In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

Freeze the Cookie Dough: Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.

Prepare the Swirls: In separate bowls, spoon out the Nutella and caramel sauce. If the Nutella is too thick, microwave it for a few seconds to make it easier to drizzle.

Make the Ice Cream Base: In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, and sugar until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Assemble the Ice Cream: Using an ice cream maker, churn the ice cream base according to your manufacturer’s instructions. Once the ice cream begins to thicken, add in the chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates, half of the M&Ms, and the frozen cookie dough chunks. Continue churning until the ice cream is fully set.

Layer in the Swirls: Once the ice cream is churned, gently fold in alternating spoonfuls of Nutella and caramel sauce to create swirls. Be careful not to overmix, or the swirls will disappear.

Freeze and Enjoy! Pour the ice cream into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best texture. When serving, top with the remaining M&Ms and fresh berries, if desired.
